Nike v Adidas (Can I Kick It) - A Battle of the Greats

Nike or Adidas? The question that splits families apart. But in our day and age, what makes a good kick is becoming more and more blurred, with the likes of Reebok coming back up with mad space like shoes with the Fury OG's, the trainer game is changing every month now. But people don't remember what influenced these crazy contraptions brands turn out today.

Take Adi, throughout the many years of rivalry, they have always been a close second to Nike, apart from the day of only Adidas producing obviously, just take 80's England, with Hooliganism at its prime, Adidas had a new unsuspected market. As money and music came into Football, so did fashion, and the need for the latest Gazelles and Peter Storm quarter zip.

As the fad died down, Nike's supply of new breath taking tech shoes known as the Air Max 1 was the latest craze, visible air had brainwashed Britain's teens and seemed to make them want to wear shell suits... But this was the start of something massive, with visible air on the rise Nike were taking the game by storm with Tinker making big moves and raking in the dollar.

Fast forward to now, with social media changing the game forever with the likes of massive celebrity endorsement campaigns becoming more and more popular, Adidas are taking it right back off Nike, with Yee's transfer across the two sporting giants shifting the power.

Lets see if it stays that way!
